i'm srikanta, son of shayamala and grandson of thammaiah and kamakshamma . My mom told me that you were one of her students.
I just came across your blog while surfing and i have to congratulate you for starting such a blog which is connected to uchangi. Its been a long time since i visited uchangi and its a delight to see the pictures and read the stories. I will try my best to convey the existence of this blog with all my relatives. I really expect you to keep us all those people who are in farther cities like Bangalore etc to be updated with sights and sounds of uchangi.
I suggest you to add more pictures and come up many profiles of the old families and their houses which still exists. Its a good idea to have all the information online before it gets lost.

it is so nice to hear from you.My idea and thought to build bridge between all uchangigas(especially youngsters) through this blog is working.
I like your suggestion and surely work on it.
As i mentioned in this blog,it is the blog of all uchangigas.So please do write some of your experience and memories(may be of your family members)in this blog.if u find it difficult to write in Kannada,pls write it in a paper, take a photo of it and email me.i will publish it.

sorry for late reply, i had exams going on..
All of them are doing fine here, also I've told them about writing their experience and snippets . They will do it for sure.
Also its difficult for me to write a technical blog in Kannada so i do it in English.
